The best detailing gift gives the driver a choice they actually want. Check that they’d welcome it, decide whether you’re contributing toward care or covering an agreed service, and let them confirm the service, location and date.
That’s true whether it’s a thank-you for borrowing a relative’s car or a birthday present for an enthusiast. The idea is to make car care easier, not to hand someone a surprise bill or a treatment they wouldn’t have picked.

Start with the person who drives the car
A quick, low-key conversation can keep the surprise while checking what matters: “Would some help with car care be useful, or do you already have someone you like?” If they have a detailer they trust, or don’t want the gift, rethink the idea before you buy.
Ask what would help most. Maybe it’s the cabin after family travel, maybe the exterior, or maybe just time to talk through options. Someone particular about their car may want to explain existing film, coating or care arrangements themselves.
Don’t book correction, coating or tint as a surprise. Let the driver discuss whether it suits the car and approve the work. ZNT’s booking terms require the person booking to own the car or be authorized, and to give accurate information about it.

Pick an amount, not a package
There are two simple ways to frame the gift:

| What you want to do | What to sort out before buying |
|---|---|
| Contribute toward care | Say clearly how much you’re contributing and check that they’re happy to decide how to use it. |
| Cover an agreed service | Talk through their priorities, the car’s condition and the location, then get a current quote for that work before choosing the amount. |
A gift-card value is a dollar amount, not shorthand for “a full detail.” ZNT’s terms say pricing can vary with condition and additional requirements. A quote should spell out the intended work and possible extras, so the recipient doesn’t find out later that your gift only works if they pay a difference they didn’t want.
Set a budget you’re comfortable with. If the work costs more, talk about a smaller scope, a clearly understood contribution or a different gift. Ask how any difference would be handled before you commit. For more on what to ask, see our guide to comparing detailing quotes.
Thanking a household with two cars? Treat each one separately. Splitting the amount evenly might suit your budget, but it doesn’t mean both cars need the same work or cost the same.
Choose the gift without guessing the service
Start with what the driver wants and a budget you are comfortable with.
First, confirm the gift is welcome
Ask what care they want and where the work could happen. If you are unsure or the gift is not wanted, talk it through before buying.
Give a contribution
Choose and communicate the amount. Confirm they are happy to choose the care and handle any possible difference.
Give an agreed service
Agree on the work together, get a current quote, and ask about possible extras and how any difference will be handled.
Before buying
Confirm the amount, format, delivery and who pays for what. Pause or change the plan if anything remains unclear.
How ZNT’s gift cards work
As of October 21, 2026, ZNT’s gift-card page listed $50, $100, $200 and $500, plus a custom amount.
To buy one, you contact ZNT with the amount you’d like. The page describes personalized digital or physical cards, with email and printable options. The recipient schedules their own service and applies the gift value at checkout, and any unused value can stay on the card for a later service.
The page also says the cards don’t expire, are redeemable toward ZNT services, and are nonrefundable and can’t be exchanged for cash. Read the current wording on ZNT’s gift-card page before you buy, and ask ZNT about anything unusual that matters for your gift.
Confirm the format, where it will be delivered and when, especially if you want to hand it over on a particular day. If something like transferring or replacing the card is essential to your plan, ask about that specifically.
Let them pick the place and the date
For mobile detailing in the Las Vegas area, an address is only a starting point. The recipient needs a spot where the work is allowed and practical. ZNT’s terms require safe access and an authorized work area. ZNT brings its own spot-free water, power and equipment for mobile detailing, so the recipient does not need to provide water or electricity.
Say the recipient parks at a condo or at work but can’t approve work there. Let them check with the property and talk the location through with ZNT before treating it as settled. Our guide to booking mobile detailing at a condo, apartment or office covers that in more detail. If a workable location is still up in the air, sort that out before you buy.

Timing is their call, too. A gift after a road trip may be more useful than an appointment squeezed in the day before they leave. Ask about their plans, the work they want and any aftercare, then confirm an available date. Once the visit is booked, our guide to preparing for a mobile detailing appointment helps with access and belongings.
Make the handoff easy
Give the recipient the confirmed gift amount, the actual card or delivery details, and ZNT’s contact information and terms. Keep those facts separate from the choices that are still theirs: the care they want, the car’s condition, the location, the date and any extra spending. A short note is better than promising everything’s already arranged.
What is settled, and what remains their choice
Record only confirmed gift details and leave the recipient’s choices open.

| Giver: confirmed details | Recipient: choices to confirm |
|---|---|
| Amount given | Care they want |
| Card format and details | Vehicle condition and existing care |
| Where and when it will be delivered | A location where work is allowed |
| ZNT contact and current terms | Preferred date and any extras or costs to discuss |
A note with a contribution could say: “Thank you for lending us your car. This is toward whatever car care you’d like—pick what’s useful and a time that suits you.”
If you’d like to cover agreed work, try this before buying: “I’d like to pay for some car care as a thank-you. Let’s choose what to do and the budget together before I buy the gift.”
When you’re ready, contact ZNT through its gift-card page with the amount you have in mind, your preferred format and timing, and ask them to confirm whatever details your recipient’s plan depends on.
